I am a New York State licensed medical massage therapist, dancer, writer, and teaching artist with over a decade of professional bodywork experience. Growing up, I was immersed in eastern philosophy, music, and practices of introspection. These experiences, and my career as a dancer, shaped my understanding of the body-mind connection and nurtured my intuitive abilities as a massage therapist. I began studying massage at the age of 16 and the fascination only deepens over time.
I am grateful for the excellent training I have received over the years, graduating Magna Cum Lauda from Pacific College of Health and Science and earning a BFA in dance from SUNY Purchase. Additionally, I am certified in perinatal massage and Zero Balancing therapy, addressing energy and tension held at bone level, the deepest layer of ourselves
My work is enriched by combining numerous modalities from Eastern and Western/ancient and modern perspectives. Sessions with me often integrate techniques from Shiatsu, Thai, orthopedic, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, Zero Balancing, Swedish, Tui Na, reflexology, somatic movement coaching, and mindfulness meditation.
Communication and trust are integral to creating a great massage experience. I do my best to listen deeply to each client with a trauma informed approach to create customized care plans that address the root of pain as well as the symptoms.
